FrOSCon 2012 in St. Augustin 25./26. August 2012

Auch in diesem Jahr wird CAcert wieder auf der FrOSCon am 25. und 26. August in St. Augustin mit einem Stand vertreten sein.
Des Weiteren wird es im Entwicklerraum “Freie Software für Betrieb und Verwaltung” einen Vortrag zum Thema “Zertifikate im betrieblichen Alltag” von CAcert geben.
Sprecht uns auf dem Stand an, um zu erfahren, welche Aktivitäten zur Zeit bei CAcert durchgeführt und geplant sind.

ATE Raleigh, US, August 11th

Much has happened during recent years. The old way of orally-transmitted procedures has now gone, and our rules have been cast into formal policies. New procedures (e.g. the Assurer Challenge) and obligations (e.g. in the CAcert Community Agreement) have been approved.

Problems with signing certificates [resolved]

The signer was down from June 21 02:00 UTC to June 22 23:00 UTC.
Our administrators were able to fix the hardware problem so that the signer is up and working again.
We’re sorry for any inconvenience.

ATE Duesseldorf, 2012-07-09

• Was hast du auf dem CAP Formular hinzuzufügen, wenn du Minderjährige überprüfst ?
• Warum solltest du dir die 3 Buchstaben: R/L/O einprägen ?
• Wie verhälst du dich, wenn du ein fremdes Ausweisdokument zum erste Mal prüfst ?

Antworten auf diese und andere Fragen erhaltet ihr auf dem Assurer Training Event.
Bringt geeignete Lichtbildausweise für Assurances mit.

Ein zusätzlicher Hinweis für ehemalige Tverify/Thawte Leute:
Das ATE ist auch eine sehr gute Möglichkeit eure Assurance und Experience Punkte in die Reihe zu bekommen, bevor diese gestrichen werden.

Our administrators were able to fix the hardware problem so that the signer is up and working again.
We’re sorry for any inconvenience.

Problems to reach some CAcert services (solved)

We have suffered from a connectivity problem with the CAcert infrastructure services (blog, mail, svn, wiki etc) from about 08:05 – 09:05 UTC this morning (2012-05-23).
Our system administrators were able to fix the firewall problem.

All systems are avialable again.

CAcert Polo Shirts (stiched)

CAcert community is producing stiched polo shirts.
There will be a small blue CAcert logo stiched to the left collar and a larger coloured on on the left side of the breast.
The polo shirt will be from Fruit of the Loom in white without a pocket.
It will be available in the sizes M, L, XL, XXL, 3XL.
The price will be 30 EUR each without shipping costs.
Shipping will be around 10 EUR within the EU and 20 EUR to the rest of the world.
We try to find the cheapest shipping method.
