[29.08.2013 – 09:00] The CAcert signing server is temporarily out of service. As far as we can tell, the problem started on 28.08.2013 around 13:30 CEST, and is likely to be similar to the problem we saw earlier this week.
Two CAcert critical system administrators will visit the hosting centre this afternoon in order to fix the problem if possible. We hope that the signing service will be back online around 17:30 CEST.
Currently pending signing and revocation requests will automatically be processed after the service is resumed.

Upgrade of lists server [Update: done]
During the last hours, the CAcert mailing list server was upgraded to the latest OS realease Debian Wheezy.
Please let us know, if you experience any problems.
Improvement in CAcert Software
Starting with the recent update there is a field to enter a comment to better identify the different certificates within one’s list of certificates. This comment is only for internal and personal use and it will thus not be available in the certificate.
The comment can be added during the creation process as well as modified for any existing certificates.
Blog update
The CAcert Blog (incl. its system) has been upgraded to recent software versions. With this also a new Theme had to be created to be compatible with the current version of the blog software.
Please let me know, if anything was broken by the upgrade or anything does not work for you as expected.
