CAcert at CeBIT 2016

On the world’s largest computer fair, the CeBIT in Hannover, DE, CAcert should not be missing out. From March 14th through March 18th Assurers and Assurees are meeting each other at 12:00 CET outside Hall 2 in direction of the green. In case of bad weather the assurances take place directly at the glass front of Hall 2 outside under the roofing.

Auf der weltgrößten Computermesse, der CeBIT in Hannover, darf auch CAcert nicht fehlen. Vom 14. bis 18. März treffen sich Assurer und Assurees täglich ab 12 Uhr vor Halle 2 in Richtung der Grünfläche. Bei schlechtem Wetter finden die Assurances direkt an der Glasfront von Halle 2 außen unter der Überdachung statt. Mehr Informationen finden sich im Wiki.

CAcert Assurances at the LISA Conference in Seattle, WA, USA, 11 November 2014

The 28th Large Installation System Administration conference (aka. Lisa 2014) will be meeting November 9-14 in Seattle, WA, USA. We have held a CAcert Birds-of-a-Feather (BoF) session at several previous LISA events. The CAcert Assurance BoF at LISA 14 will be Tuesday evening November 11th. This session is open to the public. We will start with a presentation to introduce CAcert to newcomers. We will also discuss recent changes to the CCA (CACert Community Agreement), the TTP Assurance Program and other changes.. We will have several assurers there to do initial assurances. Mutual assurances are encouraged for getting practice and for answering questions. And there is the added benefit of earning experience points.

Wer es am 6. Januar nicht nach Amberg geschafft hat, der hat am Samstag eine weitere Chance!

Zusammen mit dem Bürgernetzverein Nürnberger Land veranstaltet CAcert ein Assurance Event in Winkelhaid. Es werden Organisation Assurer anwesend sein, aber auch wer sich persönlich assuren lassen oder Informationen zu CAcert erhalten will ist herzlich eingeladen.

Those from Central Frankonia who did not make it to the event on Jan 6 in Amberg get a second chance this Saturday!

In cooperation with Bürgernetzverein Nürnberger Land CAcert is staging an Assurance Event in Winkelhaid near Nürnberg. There will be Organisation Assurers on site, but everyone interested in a personal Assurance or information about CAcert is welcome.

We have held a CAcert Birds-of-a-Feather (BoF) session at several of these. The CAcert Assurance BoF at LISA 13 will be Tuesday evening November 5th. This session is open to the public. CAcert is gladly announcing you the next big event with CAcert attendance: August, 24th-25th in Hochschule Bonn-Rhein Sieg in Sankt Augustin, near Bonn/Cologne FrOSCon 8 (Free and Open Source Software Conference) will take place, and CAcert will have a booth there as well. Am Donnerstag, 29. März 2012 findet in der Uni Jena das nächste ATE statt.

  • Was hast du auf dem CAP Formular hinzuzufügen, wenn du Minderjährige überprüfst ?
  • Warum solltest du dir die 3 Buchstaben: R/L/O einprägen ?
  • Wie verhälst du dich, wenn du ein fremdes Ausweis Dokument zum erste mal prüfst ?

Bringt geeignete Lichtbildausweise für Assurances mit.

Ein zusätzlicher Hinweis für ehemalige Tverify/Thawte Leute:
Das ATE ist auch eine sehr gute Möglichkeit eure Assurance und Experience Punkte in die Reihe zu bekommen, bevor diese gestrichen werden.

FrOSCon 2011 in St. Augustin 20./21. August 2011

Auch in diesem Jahr wird CAcert wieder auf der FrOSCon am 20. und 21. August in St. Augustin mit einem Stand vertreten sein.
Des Weiteren wird es in Zusammenarbeit mit OpenOffice einen Vortrag zum Thema “Signieren von OpenOffice-Dokumenten” geben.
Sprecht uns auf dem Stand an, um zu erfahren, welche Aktivitäten zur Zeit bei CAcert durchgeführt und geplant sind.
